No, provided the filters are manufactured to original equipment (OE) specifications and changed according to the manufacturer’s recommendations, your vehicle’s warranty won’t be affected.
Any filters manufactured to OE specifications will be covered under the Motor Vehicle Block Exemption Regulation. This provides you with the flexibility to choose where you purchase parts for your vehicles. It also means you aren’t restricted to using the main dealer for your vehicle when it comes to servicing it.
Are the filters supplied by HGV Direct the same as the filters fitted by main dealers?
With many main dealers, you will find the ‘genuine’ filter is often the same product supplied by retailers such as ourselves. Main dealers don’t manufacture filters, so will use the same sources and suppliers as we do to fulfil their requirements.

All parts supplied by HGV Direct offer a minimum of 12 months' warranty against defects in materials or manufacture. In the extremely unlikely event you encounter a problem, we offer full warranty support from the part manufacturer.
