Turnaround
All orders are shipped within 24 hours Monday - Friday 8am - 4:00pm. Unless your item is on Backorder, Then please see below.
Order Tracking
If a tracking # is provided by the shipping carrier, we will update your order with the tracking information.
Shipping Rates
We offer free next day delivery (subject to stock) on all orders over £50.00 Ex VAT. Under £50, A Delivery charge is applied at checkout.
Outside of the UK, Scotland, and Ireland may be subject to a surcharge. Which will be calculated at the checkout.
Large / Bulky Items – Freight Shipping
Some products are large, heavy and/or bulky (items such as IBC’s, Compressors, Brake Drums etc). These items may not be able to ship via our current parcel couriers and will require a Freight delivery, which may incur additional costs.
When shipping a Large and Bulky Item, it may arrive via pallet distribution. Please ensure you have a suitable area at your chosen delivery location to unload the goods. Without a suitable unloading area, our freight courier may refuse to deliver the goods. You will be responsible for additional charges that will be charged by the freight carrier.
Back Orders
If an item goes on back order we will notify you. We will advise you the lead times.
Click & Collect
You can collect any item or order from our branches. Once your order is placed, we will call you to confirm when your item will be at your chosen branch.
Returns, Refunds and Exchanges Policy
We want you to be fully satisfied with every item that you purchase from www.hgvdirect.co.uk. If you are not satisfied with an item that you have purchased, you may return the item within 30 days of delivery for a full refund of the purchase price, minus the shipping, handling, and other charges.
The item must be returned in good condition, in original boxes (whenever possible), and with all paperwork, parts and accessories to ensure credit.

Include in your package a signed letter stating the reason for your return and the original receipt.
- Shipping, handling costs and other charges are non-refundable.
- We will not accept C.O.D. or third-party billing for returned merchandise.
- In the case of shipping damages, please contact the carrier or our Customer Support department at 01335 453 800.
- You can expect a refund in the same form of payment originally used for purchase within 30 days of our receiving your returned product. Your refund will include the cost of the item, plus any applicable sales tax.
- Items purchased at our online store may not be returned to a retail store.
- Items purchased at a retail store may not be returned to our online store.
If you receive a damaged or defective item, contact a Customer Support Representative within 30 days of delivery at 01335 453 800.
Please be prepared to supply the order number and item number from your original confirmation e-mail, as well as your e-mail address and phone number.
www.hgvdirect.co.uk will make every reasonable effort to assist you with your return. If you do not contact Customer Support, you are responsible for all return shipping charges.
If there is extensive damage to the carton upon delivery, contact a Customer Support Representative immediately at 01335 453 800. Please have your order number available when you call.
